2013 November

We are now all settled back in to the campground in Golden, Colorado, Dave’s working full time, and Roberta’s hanging out and learning to entertain herself while Dave works, so there isn’t a whole lot to blog about.  Here are a few highlights of the month in Golden…..

A little snow from time to time reminds us that winter is upon us....but no big storms yet!!

Mother Nature's joke....see the giant "icicles" under the front end? As if they could work as stabilizing jacks!!

We spent a quiet, uneventful Thanksgiving at Roberta’s brother’s house.  Dave’s long hours and physically demanding work make it difficult for us to do much other than rest and recuperate when he is not working! We did, though, join the family for a Thanksgiving Day Hike – burn the calories BEFORE ingesting them…haha!

(Don’t forget to roll your cursor over each picture to see its caption =))

Then, the day after Thanksgiving, Roberta dragged Dave along to an event she had been planning to attend for awhile – the nationwide Walmart demonstration against low wages and poor working conditions.  The Walmart in nearby Wheat Ridge was one of the locations participating in the event so that is where we went.  We were pleasantly surprised to see WAY more attendees than we dreamed would be there!!

See you in December!
