In spite of what was happening at GE, life continued as normally as possible. The Rozelles Super Bowl party went on as usual.
Tennis tournaments continued to be played on the four undamaged courts and Joel made the medals as he had done previously.
Repairs continued on our property and we were lucky we had not lost some essential services such as heating, water and electricity. Most of the damage seemed to be cosmetic.
In February it even got cold enough to have snow in the nearby mountains!
And in Oakland Kevin and Vanessa bought a house!
